This year’s annual Preacher’s Delight Conference, set for October 6-9, promises a week of powerful preaching and sweet fellowship. Pastors, pastor’s wives, missionaries, Christian workers, and laypeople gather from across the country for edification and encouragement.
The week will feature impactful preaching as well as practical teaching. Each morning, the ladies gather for breakfast and fellowship while the men meet for teaching sessions addressing pertinent issues of the day. The music, provided by Immanuel Baptist Church, is always uplifting and is a blessing to the delegates.
A highlight of the conference is the fellowship meal after every evening service, where delegates are served dinner and are given the opportunity to build lasting friendships. The Preacher’s Delight Conference is a unique and powerful event.
This year’s conference theme is “Confronting the Culture.” Rather than changing to conform to the culture, we must confront the culture with the Gospel. I am looking forward to teaching on several relevant topics, such as:
- Combatting the Reprobate Culture
- Building a Culture-Changing Sunday School
- Dealing with Church Cancel Culture
- How the Culture Is Affecting Church Music
- Unmasking the Elder Brother Culture
I am anticipating our largest-ever registration for this year’s conference. My prayer is that every Christian leaves encouraged, edified, and equipped to make a difference in his city, town, and community.
