Mission Aviation Flight Academy Announces Start of Next Ground School

Earn Your Private Pilot License | Jacksonville Flight Training

Last year we officially opened our flight school, Mission Aviation Flight Academy, after much prayer and hard work. Students from the inaugural class are progressing well, advancing toward their private pilot’s licenses. The next 16-week ground school begins March 24.

Many who read the Daily Report are not local to Jacksonville, so occasionally, it will serve as a progress update on the ministries here while also giving readers some things to consider. To our local readers: This is an excellent opportunity to explore obtaining your private pilot’s license if it interests you. Perhaps you know someone else who may be interested—you can refer them to the website (link above) for more information.

The vision for our aviation ministry is to incorporate it into missions. We offer a mission aviation degree at North Florida Baptist College and are laying the groundwork to use aviation in the Great Commission Mission, establishing churches around the globe, including in remote locations. I believe this is an incredible avenue of ministry for many, whether or not they feel called to preach or become full-time missionaries. It is my heart’s desire to create as many ways as possible for Christians to be involved in spreading the Gospel around the world.

Through the Daily Report and the newsletter, I will update you often concerning this, as we train a generation of Christians to serve—including those who want to assist through aviation by transporting men and materials and helping to plant churches around the world.
