I am thankful for another week of ministry. God blessed with a great Sunday to start the week. Monday through Wednesday, I had the privilege of preaching at a Great Commission Conference hosted by my friend, Pastor William Jackson. In addition to these speaking engagements, I had the opportunity to minister to others through calls, texts, and emails.
I also spent some time preparing for a Restoration Workshop for our Galatians 6:1 Ministries. Planning for some exciting changes in our Bible college required attention, along with making arrangements for our upcoming special Sundays at Immanuel Baptist Church. The ministry is amazing! What a joy and a privilege it is to serve in God’s work!
Here are some things I am currently working on this week:
Preacher’s Delight Conference
The theme, “Confronting the Culture,” has been chosen, and I am now outlining the subjects for the sessions I will be teaching. Based on the positive feedback received from both returning delegates and first-time delegates, I believe this will be our best conference yet.
College Courses
Exciting changes and announcements are coming regarding our Bible college ministry. Due to this, I am developing new courses that I will soon be teaching. Some of these include:
- The Great Commission
- Bible Charity
- Last Days Theology
- Spiritual Warfare
A More Excellent Way
I am nearing completion of a book on Bible charity, along with additional resources such as Sunday school lessons, children’s materials, and other study tools for Christians on this subject. I believe God will use this to remind people of His command to exhibit charity.
Sunday School Revolution
As our church continues its Sunday School Revolution, I am organizing the next set of Sunday school classes to be started and am preparing our upcoming curriculum. Additionally, I am writing a book on The Revolutionary Sunday School Teacher, which should be released later this year.
Here is One More Thing… for you to consider:
You can minister as well. Pray for someone, encourage someone, and witness to someone today. Ministry work is not limited to only preachers—it is for everyone. While I believe it is important for Christians to be involved in their local church’s ministries, we all can minister wherever we are, regardless of the circumstances.
Right now, think of someone to whom you can be a blessing. Now, make the effort to minister!
