I had a blessed time this week with my friend Pastor William Jackson and the congregation of Victory Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This meeting was scheduled with a desire to stir Christians to fulfill the Great Commission. From the first night, the great liberty I had in the pulpit made it evident that hearts were ready to receive the teaching. Each night built upon the previous night’s teaching, preparing listeners to be more effective in fulfilling Christ’s mandate.

Pastor Jackson did a wonderful job preparing for the conference, and several churches were represented in the meeting. I enjoyed the fellowship with the people of Victory Baptist Church, including Pastor Jackson and his family. He has a heart for his people and a passion for souls. The Victory Baptist Church is positioned in the middle of explosive growth in the surrounding area, providing tremendous opportunity for outreach. I pray that God would use some of the truths taught this week to help them in reaching their neighboring communities.
