Yesterday at Immanuel Baptist Church was one of those days you just do not forget. I am still thinking about everything the Lord did on Friends and Family Sunday. We had many first-time visitors and returning visitors from last Sunday. We had the privilege of witnessing several individuals accept Christ as Saviour. Also, a young man publicly declared his faith through baptism. These moments are profound reminders of the power of the Gospel through our faithful efforts of sharing it with others.
In the evening, we gathered outdoors for a special service. Following this, we enjoyed a meal, good fellowship, and some fun games for all ages. It is days such as this that make me thankful all over again for the family of God—doing His work together, encouraging one another, and fellowshipping. Life does not get better than that.
Looking ahead, I am excited about next week, which is Back to the Bible Sunday. In a world filled with distractions, it is vital that we anchor ourselves in God’s Word. This special day will focus on practical ways to immerse ourselves in Scripture, allowing it to guide and shape our daily lives. I encourage you to join us, bring a friend, and come prepared to deepen your understanding and love for the Bible.
