Reprobate New York Attorney General Remains Defiant

Link: Letitia James defies EO

New York Attorney General Letitia James, who gained notoriety for her prosecution of Donald Trump, has made the headlines again. In a show of defiance against the president’s executive order banning sex change operations for children, James threatened hospitals if they refuse these treatments in compliance with the order.

In my opinion, James does not merely embody the ideology of a political party but rather the description found in the latter half of Romans 1, where the Apostle Paul describes the reprobate mind.

James’s call to continue mutilating children is certainly an act of defiance, as she now uses threats of political prosecution (the irony) against hospitals that do not defy President Trump’s executive order. When we break down her defiance, it is not a badge of honor but a badge of shame.

She defies morality.

There is no moral argument for abusing a child in this manner. It is against all societal norms to neglect the protection of our children. She is a danger to those who cannot protect themselves.

She defies nature.

Even nature declares it is not normal to mutilate a child because someone believes they should be a different sex than God created them to be. Romans 1:26 says, For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: To advocate for this abuse and torture is to act against nature.

She defies the law.

Trump’s executive order makes it illegal to perform these surgeries on children. Yet, James places herself above the law in defiance of it. Again, the irony—she prosecuted Trump while claiming that “no one is above the law.”

She defies God.

The worse defiance is her defiance of God. I do not believe James cares at all about the children. Rather, I believe she hates God and will defy Him in any way she can. Let us follow the logic: If one is fine with murdering an unborn child, then what is wrong with mutilating born children?

I am reminded of the culmination of a reprobate society found in Romans 1:32, Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. What is both sad and revealing is that people like James show no remorse and seemingly take pleasure in their position.

This incites several emotions. While it makes me angry, my anger is not a solution. Instead, this is a reminder to me of the importance of reaching and investing in this generation of children. I am thankful for the actions of President Trump. This executive order is both moral and merciful.

It is still up to us to protect and reach the next generation.
